Like the table tents, these large-format signs were a promotional perk for liquor stores, and occasionally restaurants, that hit a specific order volume. Since the goal was to grab attention from across a busy store, I had a ton of creative freedom to push the visuals and make something really striking. The scale of these deliverables varied wildly, ranging from standard 12″x18″ boards all the way up to pieces spanning nearly five feet wide.
Once the design was dialed in, we handled the entire fabrication process in-house. I’d run the files on our large-format Epson, laminate the prints, mount them to foam core, and punch in grommets for ceiling displays. Making sure they survived transit was its own project. We packed most of them bulletproof for shipping, but for those massive five-footers? We’d just grab an extra set of hands and personally navigate them through the subway to get them on-site safely.
