I took the lead on a solid chunk of our catalog lineup, specifically managing the Second Wines, Half Bottle, Folio, Spain, Italy, American Trails, and Grand Cru books. Because inventory and vintages are constantly shifting, these required manual updates every single month. It meant getting into the weeds with the data, updating individual price points and wine ratings across hundreds of items, all while making sure the overall grid stayed clean and readable.
Speed was a major factor for these updates because the workflow had two moving parts. My standalone books had to be prepped, printed, and shipped out to the reps, but those same files also had to be merged into the massive master catalog alongside the rest of the team’s sections. File organization and hitting deadlines were key here. If my files weren’t ready to go, it bottlenecked the final master book for the rest of the design team.
